i'd like to have a good reason to have a 3 or 20 side dice
@CobaltVelvet Wait... a THREE sided die? I can't picture the geometry of such a thing. Did you mean four?
Funky dice are used in many tapletop games and RPGs, some games such as Warhammer will have rules that used only six-sided dice but in a formula to achieve different ranges (eg "3d6 - 3" means "total of three six-sided dice, minus three", which is the range of a 15-sided die).
